Sanu Ghimire/ Sujan Neupane, Sydney: In the Consulate General Office of New South Wales (Australia) 2555th Buddha Jayanti was celebrated today. Kapilvastu Day Movement Global Committee Australia Coordinator Miss Sanu Ghimire had a presentation on Buddha, Buddhism and Kapilvastu Day Movement.
In the same occasion an eleven member Kapilvastu Day Movement National Committee (Australia) has been formed under Mr. Nima Sherpa’s National Coordinatorship. After Spain, Belgium, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Taiwan, Denmark and Nepal, Australia became the ninth country to form Kapilvastu Day Movement National Committee. HE Deepak Kadka announced the names of the committee members. HE Khadka is also one of the Advisors for Kapilvastu Day Movement Global Committee. The news will be updated soon.
